In August 2011, Art Leather closed its doors forever. Due to this closing, the Lifetime Guarantee offered by Art Leather is no longer valid. However, Professional Albums can offer you an exact replacement cover, made by hand in the exact manner they have been for more than 60 years.
Professional ALbums was THE distributor for all Art Leather Products and when Art Leather closed its doors, we, having the rights to the Art Leather Designs created our own production facility and today we continue to offer the Art Leather Product Line. Normally, we DO NOT sell to the public - only to professional photographers. But in this instance, there are many people who have an issue with their covers and cannot locate their original photographer, but are still in need of a new cover. So, since there is no place else these people can get an original Art Leather Design, we decided to make the covers available to those consumers who need them. Being that they are the exact same design, your pages will fit our covers perfectly and once put back together, will create an album for you that will look brand new again.
We make the process simple and easy for you to order your new album cover, made custom for your specific style and size. We offer a replacement cover at a discounted price of $150 for bonded leather or non-leather and $175 for upgraded Glove leather plus shipping & handling. This is a flat fee that includes any lower right imprinting (names and date) as well as any cover titles such as "Our Wedding". My album cover has gotten all sticky and is falling apart, what happened?
These deteriorating covers are a known problem with Aristahyde from that era. It occurred to some, but not all, but not all Aristahyde throughout the industry; it affected many companies including Art Leather.
My albums says that it has a "Lifetime Guarantee" from Art Leather, is this still valid?
In August 2011, Art Leather closed its doors and ceased production. Due to this, the Lifetime Guarantee offered by Art Leather is no longer valid. Professional ALbums is a completely different company although we do offer many of the same or very similar products and are able to make a cover that will accommodate your inserts.
Do I need to send my old album to you?
You do not send the original photos or album to us. Please keep your treasured pictures in your possession. Your original pages/inserts will be able to be conveniently transfer to the new cover.

We have several cover material options available for you. Our base-priced materials consist of our Bonded leathers and our Faux leathers. Our upgraded materials are a true, genuine glove leather and they are available for an additional charge.
